SEFAR Design System
SEFAR is Yassir’s internal design system, created to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across our entire ecosystem of mobility, delivery, and financial products. I contributed to the evolution of SEFAR by designing new components, refining foundations, documenting usage, and supporting product teams in adopting the system across multiple platforms.

Problem & Goals.
As Yassir rapidly expanded its product ecosystem, inconsistencies in UI elements, interactions, and visual patterns began to emerge across teams. Designers and engineers lacked a unified source of truth, leading to duplicated work, slower delivery, and fragmented experiences.
The goal was to strengthen SEFAR into a scalable, cohesive design system — one that provides clear foundations, reusable components, and reliable documentation so teams can build faster, stay aligned, and deliver consistent product quality.
Final Design Highlights.
My Contribution
Designing & Evolving Components
I collaborated on building core UI components, patterns, and interaction guidelines. Each component was designed with scalability and multi-platform compatibility in mind.
Maintaining & Reviewing the System
- Conducted design reviews across product teams
- Ensured correct usage of tokens, spacing, and visual rules
- Improved documentation to reduce inconsistencies
- Audited existing screens and guided teams through proper implementation
Leading the Design System Team
For several months, I led SEFAR’s design system team, coordinating:
- Cross-team adoption and onboarding
- Prioritization of new components and upgrades
- Collaboration with engineering for implementation
- System governance and versioning
Impact & Outcomes.
- Improved consistency across Yassir’s suite of products
- Reduced design & development time through reusable components
- Strengthened brand coherence and visual quality
- Enabled product teams to scale faster with fewer visual inconsistencies
- Created a more intuitive shared language between design and engineering
