GoAmigo MVP
GoAmigo is a platform that enables influencers to plan, manage, and share group trips with their followers and communities. The objective was to design a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that supports both influencer workflows and participant interactions, while ensuring a seamless, responsive experience across desktop and mobile.

Problem & Goals.
Influencers needed a simple way to create, organize, and publish trips, while followers needed a clear interface to discover, join, and stay updated on upcoming experiences.
Challenges included:
- Balancing influencer needs with follower usability
- Creating a scalable trip structure with flexible content blocks
- Designing clear CTAs for joining, sharing, and engaging
- Delivering a polished MVP under a tight timeline
The platform required a structure capable of handling diverse trip types while maintaining simplicity and clarity.

Research Phase.
1. Methods
Although this was an MVP, the process included:
- Benchmarking other group travel platforms
- Reviewing influencer workflows
- Lightweight usability testing with early screens
- Identifying essential vs. MVP-ready features
2. Findings
The research revealed:
- Influencers needed flexible modules to build trip pages
- Users preferred a layout that highlighted dates, pricing, itinerary, and availability immediately
- Early testers required clarity between trip information and actions (join, message, share)
- Responsiveness was crucial as many users joined trips from mobile devices

“It was so easy to join the trip and stay updated — I felt like part of the journey from the start.”
— User feedback
Ideation & Exploration.
Early explorations focused on:
- A modular trip page structure (hero, overview, itinerary, gallery, pricing, reviews)
- Clear action hierarchy for joining and sharing
- A familiar but premium layout tailored to both influencer branding and follower usability
- Systems that could scale to multiple trip types without redesigning the entire page
Iterations included variations of:
- Trip card previews
- Calendar and date layouts
- Gallery formats
- Sticky CTA areas for mobile
- Content blocks that could be reordered by creators
Prototyping & Testing.
A complete high-fidelity prototype was created for both desktop and mobile.
What we tested
- Clarity of the trip structure
- Ease of joining a trip
- Readability of itinerary and pricing sections
- Responsiveness and layout transitions
Outcomes
- Users clearly understood how to join and engage with trips
- Influencers found content blocks intuitive to manage
- Mobile interactions became significantly more efficient
- The MVP validated the core flow and feature set
